Hours of Work
40 hrs per week Mpnday to Friday - to include a half-hour unpaid break each day - there is some flexibility within the store opening hours for the successful candidate.

Holiday Entitlement
29 days per annum including 3 statutory public holidays (New Year's Day, Christmas Day & Boxing Day).

Place of Work
Main place of work is ABC Selfstore 118-120 Garratt Lane, London, SW18 4DJ. You will also work regularly at ABC Selfstore 54-80 Ossory Road, London, SE1 5AN and ABC Selfstore 145-147 York Way, London, N7 9LG.

Position Overview

As the acting Group Operations Administrator, you will be highly motivated and flexible member of staff and will play a key role in developing and checking the policy and processes that currently operate within the stores. You will also provide project management support as and when necessary.

A highly professional and trustworthy individual you will have experience of developing processes and will work closely with, and in support of the Group Operations Manager to ensure that the company continues to develop and realises its maximum profit each financial year.

You will be responsible for:

  • To regularly report on all the KPI's and WIGs for each store and for the company as a whole
  • To complete regular and thorough compliance checks at each store in line with the company compliance policy
  • To develop a thorough understanding of the business with the goal of expanding the scope of the Company Compliance Policy
  • To develop and implement compliance checks for the statutory Health and Safety regulations that the stores must implement and assist the Group Operations Manager with the implementation of Health & Safety policy and procedures.
  • Compile individual bonus payments for authorisation by the Group Operations Manager
  • Control of stock systems, such as stationary, uniforms, merchandising materials
  • Work with Group purchasing (based at Head Office) to ensure that we are managing costs effectively
  • Maintenance of HR records and files, including holiday and absence records, ensuring HR files are current and complete
  • Support the Store Managers through the recruitment process by scheduling assessments and interviews, contacting referees when appropriate, drafting offer letters and contracts for successful candidates
  • Schedule internal and external training in line with the agreed company targets
  • Maintain and update the information on the ABC Academy and Intranet in line with process and policy developments and changes
  • Schedule routine maintenance
  • Support the Group Operations Manager in the management of the property
  • Project research and development as directed by the Group Operations Manager
  • To provide project support for the Group Operations Manager

9.00am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday
to include a half-hour unpaid break each day - there is some flexibility within the store opening hours for the successful candidate.
