Training

All of our new starters get a variety of on the job and classroom based training before they start to deal with customer enquiries and sales and start to open and close the store.

The classroom training is 1:1 and is delivered by the Group Operations Manager or your Store Manager.

The training comprises of:

  • 1 day Customer Service
  • 1 day Product Knowledge and Size Estimation
  • 1/2 day Insurance Training
  • 1 day Telephone Skills
  • 1/2 day Real Play

The on the job training focuses on accessing our systems and processes - it includes an induction on to our CRM system Salesforce and detailed training on how to open and close your store.

The new starter training is normally completed within 5 weeks, meaning that you'll be skilled to answer customer enquiries and open and close the store.

Your coaching and development will continue to help improve your performance and develop your skills. The coaching will continue to be a mix of on the job and classroom based coaching.

In addition we work with Kevin Green to deliver sales and customer service coaching to the whole company. Kevin has been our training partner since April 2012 and has a great understanding of our business and goals.

Each year Kevin delivers a 1 day customer service course and a 1 day sales course - they are eagerly awaited and always help us to develop our skills!
