Here in the UK we’re a net importer of goods. The HMRC’s first estimate of figures for 2012 puts total imports at £199.3 Billion and Exports at £146.6 Billion. Which means our Net Imports are £52.7 billion greater than our exports.
The good news is that the UK both exported and imported considerably more in 2012 than we did in 2011 – and the import/export gap closed by £0.8 Billion. So perhaps – maybe – fingers crossed, those statistics indicate the early signs of economic growth… Britain is doing more business. Here at ABC we love clever import and export businesses, because the smart ones know that we’re the most flexible option possible when it comes to storage space. Our only pay for the days you stay promise means just that. Plus it’s easy to move to a bigger unit or drop to a smaller one as needs require. So you’ll only ever be paying for the space you use for the days you use it.
