We are collecting for Camden Foodbank

We are very pleased to announce that we will be supporting Camden’s Foodbank by collecting canned and tinned goods at our Camden store on York Way.

The Trussell Trust’s Camden foodbank its one of over 380 foodbanks across the UK helping the 13 million people that live below the poverty line in the UK.

Hunger is not just a third world problem. Today people across the UK will struggle to feed themselves and their families. Redundancy, illness, benefit delay, domestic violence, debt, family breakdown and paying for heating during winter are just some of the reasons why people go hungry.

The Camden foodbank is held at RCCG City Church, 14 Pratt Mews, London, NW1 0AD. You can drop in any time between 11:30am & 5pm on Tuesdays and Sundays between 12pm & 1pm.

We have held extremely successful foodbank collections at both our Southwark and Wandsworth branches and hope this collection is just as triumphant. If you are a customer or local to ABC and can spare some tinned or jarred goods for the foodbank then please drop them off at our store on York Way to help all the local people in need. Items which are most needed at this time are the likes of soup, juices, canned fruit, coffee, tinned meat/fish, and toiletries. (Please be aware that we can only accept tinned or jars of food at our collection.)
